There were 656 white students enrolled in Elysian Fields ISD schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 656 white students enrolled in Elysian Fields ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Elysian Fields ISD schools welcomed 813 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 80.7% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Elysian Fields ISD roughly covers schools within Harrison County and has a main office in Waskom.

Among the three schools in Elysian Fields ISD schools, Elysian Fields Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 310 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
