Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 60.6% of Spring Hill ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,256 white students enrolled in Spring Hill ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Spring Hill ISD schools welcomed 2,071 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 60.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Spring Hill ISD roughly covers schools within Gregg County and has a main office in Longview.

Among the four schools in Spring Hill ISD schools, Spring Hill High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 394 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
