There were 2,038 students enrolled in Spring Hill ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.6% of them were girls, and 49.4% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 61.1% of the Spring Hill ISD total enrollment.

Spring Hill ISD roughly covers schools within Gregg County with its main office in Longview.

Among the four schools in Spring Hill ISD, Spring Hill High School recorded the highest enrollment of 587 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
