Nathaniel Moran praises Granger's service; reflects on congressional achievements

Congressman Nathaniel Moran, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 1st district since 2023, shared several updates through his social media account. Born in Whitehouse, Texas, in 1974, Moran is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds a JD from the same institution.

On December 11, 2024, Congressman Moran paid tribute to Representative Kay Granger for her nearly three-decade service to the 12th District of Texas. He expressed his admiration by stating: "@RepKayGranger has represented and served the 12th District of Texas well for nearly three decades. She is a trailblazer, a leader, and a cherished mentor and friend. I had the privilege of speaking on the House floor to honor her incredible legacy and recognize the enduring…"

Later that day, Moran reflected on his role as Congress wrapped up its session: "Great to be back in the Chair as we wrap up the 118th Congress. The @HouseGOP has achieved a lot—working to secure the border, cutting reckless spending, building a strong workforce, defending life and children, and protecting election integrity." This post highlighted achievements during this congressional term.

On December 12, 2024, Congressman Moran announced significant legislative progress with the passing of a defense bill: "The FY25 National Defense Authorization Act just PASSED: Addressing the pressing national security threats our country faces Providing our servicemembers with a sorely needed pay increase Ensuring fiscal responsibility by adhering to statutory spending caps…" This tweet underscored efforts toward national security and fiscal responsibility.
