There were 45 African American students enrolled in White Oak ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.2% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that White Oak ISD schools welcomed 1,466 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 3.1% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

White Oak ISD roughly covers schools within Gregg County and has a main office in White Oak.

Among the four schools in White Oak ISD schools, White Oak Primary School recorded the highest enrollment of African American students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 16 students.
