He stated that "The CCP is the biggest long-term external threat to the U.S.—propping up Russia, Iran, and North Korea while exploiting global conflicts for its own gain." He emphasized the need to counteract China's trade practices and human rights violations.

He introduced a bill titled "No Dollars to Uyghur Forced Labor Act," aimed at preventing U.S. taxpayer dollars from supporting goods produced under forced labor conditions in Xinjiang.
