There were 440 white students enrolled in Gary ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Gary ISD schools welcomed 487 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 90.3% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Gary ISD roughly covers schools within Panola County and has a main office in Gary.

Gary School was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 440 students in the 2021-22 school year.
