Kilgore Independent School District issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Kilgore ISD is beginning the process of building an effective school calendar for the 2021-2022 school year. Your feedback on the academic calendar is important and we are asking for your input by completing this brief survey.

Note that a typical school year for Texas students is based on 75,600 minutes over the course of the year. Districts have some flexibility in how they account for those minutes. Also note that items such as start dates, test schedules and other related items are often beyond the control of Kilgore ISD.
The survey will be available from December 14, 2020 to January 3, 2021.
