City of Gladewater issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
Due to the increase in COVID 19 cases, and the cancellations of Christmas Parades by other cities, the majority of the Gladewater Chamber of Commerce Directors have voted to cancel the Gladewater Christmas Parade scheduled for Tuesday, December 8. We are disappointed the parade will not go on this year, but the safety of Gladewater citizens is most important. Next year's parade will be bigger and better!
