City of Gladewater issued the following announcement on Nov. 11.
Bring the kids to see Santa and mail their letters to the North Pole at the Gladewater Annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 14, from 5 – 8:30 pm in the Historic Downtown District.
The area will be adorned with festive decorations, and the evening will feature fun for the entire family with the downtown annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6 pm, hot chocolate, sweets and treats, music, and after-hours shopping with gift basket sign-ups available at select retailers.
To protect the safety and health of our residents, visitors, and community, social distancing and masks are recommended. The event is sponsored by Downtown Merchants, Gladewater Tourism & Downtown Association, Inc., Gladewater Chamber Of Commerce, and Gladewater Economic Development Corporation.
