Longview Times

About 20.1 percent of the 578 degrees and certificates handed out by LeTourneau University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Longview conferred 89 bachelor's degrees and 27 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 74 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 52 bachelor's degrees in elementary education and teaching and 46 bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering.

The university enrolled 3,175 students for 2017-18, including 2,801 in undergraduate programs and 374 in graduate programs.
