Further, on April 1, 2025, Moran reflected on a successful tele-town hall event in a subsequent tweet. He expressed his gratitude to the residents of Texas’ 1st District, saying, “Lincoln and I had a great telephone townhall tonight, talking with East Texans about the issues that matter to them. Thank you, TX-01!”

Later that day, Moran highlighted a commendable figure in the community on Twitter. He mentioned “D.J.” Daniel, who was honored by the President during a joint address to Congress. Daniel is set to be deputized by numerous East Texas law enforcement agencies. Moran praised Daniel’s courage as he fights cancer, welcoming him to the East Texas law enforcement community.
