On Sunday, March 1, former Gilmer High School standout Alexis Kemp took the field as her college team, the ETBU Tigers, secured a 10-6 win over the Southwestern Pirates in an NCAA Division III softball game.

The contest, held at Taylor-Sanders Field, marked the second meeting between the teams this season. In their earlier game on Sunday, March 1, the Tigers came out on top with a 3-2 victory.

Kemp pitched for 3.1 innings, notching one walk and three strikeouts.

The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday, March 17, at 12 a.m. at Jason Bell Park at Taylor Field, where they will face off with the Dallas Crusaders.
